Job Summary

Position: Broadcast Manager

As the Broadcast Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our onboard media and entertainment operations. This includes managing a team of broadcast technicians and coordinating with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of our onboard television and radio channels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of broadcast technicians providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery

- Oversee the scheduling and programming of onboard television and radio channels ensuring a diverse and engaging selection of content

- Collaborate with other departments such as entertainment and guest services to develop and implement innovative media and entertainment strategies

- Monitor and maintain the technical equipment and systems used for broadcasting ensuring they are in good working condition and meeting industry standards

- Develop and manage budgets for media and entertainment operations including equipment purchases and content licensing

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve the onboard media and entertainment experience

- Train and onboard new broadcast technicians providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Broadcasting Communications or a related field

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in broadcast management

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- In-depth knowledge of broadcast equipment and systems

- Familiarity with content licensing and copyright laws

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings weekends and holidays

- Experience working in the cruise industry is a plus
