Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program lifecycle management ensuring delivery on time within budget and to quality standards
- Oversee and track multiple projects ensuring alignment with program objectives and timely milestone achievement
- Develop and govern program-level plans including proposals schedules and cost/effort forecasts
- Manage interdependencies across projects ensuring seamless integration and minimized risks
- Drive delivery governance across teams using Agile Waterfall and CMMI best practices
- Ensure adherence to governance processes and Monitor and improve delivery KPIs.
- Proactively manage program-level risks issues and dependencies with effective mitigation strategies
- Engage stakeholders effectively to support decision-making and successful outcomes
- Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across projects
- Own end-to-end delivery across the full SDLC lifecycle
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives audits and lessons learned
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers ensuring consistent delivery and capability development
Person Specifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science Project Management IT or related field
- 12 years of overall experience with at least 4 years of program management experience across the full SDLC lifecycle
- Proven experience in managing IT digitalization and transformation initiatives considered a strong added advantage
- PMP CSM ACP & SAFe Certifications will be an added advantage
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Deep understanding of Agile Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate program progress
- Proactive risk anticipation and decision-making and escalation handling
- Ability to perform under pressure while ensuring timely delivery of program commitments
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Exceptional time management skills and have an eye for detail
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting margin management forecasting)
- Proficiency in key program and project management tools including MS Office Excel PowerPoint Jira Confluence Jira timeline and roadmap
