Senior Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program lifecycle management ensuring delivery on time within budget and to quality standards
• Oversee and track multiple projects ensuring alignment with program objectives and timely milestone achievement
• Develop and govern program-level plans including proposals schedules and cost/effort forecasts
• Manage interdependencies across projects ensuring seamless integration and minimized risks
• Drive delivery governance across teams using Agile Waterfall and CMMI best practices
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and Monitor and improve delivery KPIs.
• Proactively manage program-level risks issues and dependencies with effective mitigation strategies
• Engage stakeholders effectively to support decision-making and successful outcomes
• Ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization across projects
• Own end-to-end delivery across the full SDLC lifecycle
• Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives audits and lessons learned
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers ensuring consistent delivery and capability development

Person Specifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science Project Management IT or related field
• 12 years of overall experience with at least 4 years of program management experience across the full SDLC lifecycle
• Proven experience in managing IT digitalization and transformation initiatives considered a strong added advantage
• PMP CSM ACP & SAFe Certifications will be an added advantage
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Deep understanding of Agile Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate program progress
• Proactive risk anticipation and decision-making and escalation handling
• Ability to perform under pressure while ensuring timely delivery of program commitments
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent planning and organizing skills
• Exceptional time management skills and have an eye for detail
• Strong financial acumen (budgeting margin management forecasting)
• Proficiency in key program and project management tools including MS Office Excel PowerPoint Jira Confluence Jira timeline and roadmap
