Position Overview

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional assessment education treatment planning and ongoing dietary management for patients across a variety of clinical settings. This individual will play an important role in supporting patient recovery rehabilitation and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients nutritional status medical conditions and dietary needs
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals
• Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and families
• Monitor and evaluate nutritional intake tolerance and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Calculate nutritional requirements and assist with specialized diet planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Participate in patient rehabilitation and wellness initiatives through evidence-based nutritional interventions

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Dietetics or a related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
• Completion of a CADE-accredited supervised practice program
• Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the ADA
• Current Nevada Dietitian license required
• Specialty certifications such as CDE CNSD CSP or CDR preferred
• Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care
