Overview
Senior role within a Mid Office environment focused on mortgage applications and underwriting processes. Responsible for coordinating operations improving processes and supporting team performance from application approval through to finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up manage and improve training processes
- Create analyze and maintain reports and dashboards
- Handle administrative coordination (scheduling leave tracking authorizations time checks mailbox management)
- Coordinate security incidents and escalate complex cases issues and complaints
- Lead recruitment activities onboarding and training of new team members
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives
- Analyze workflows and drive continuous improvement (Lean approach)
- Oversee focus areas such as quality internal controls complaints training risk and coaching

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Customer-focused with a First Time Right mindset
- Proactive analytical and detail-oriented
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Demonstrates leadership and acts as a role model within the team
- Keeps up to date with mortgage market developments and shares insights
Requirements
- Completed higher professional education (HBO) degree
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Coordinator or Team Leader (preferably in financial services)
- Proven analytical skills and strong Excel proficiency
- Knowledge of mortgage processes within a Mid Office environment
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
- Customer-oriented and flexible mindset
- Relevant financial services certifications (or willingness to obtain within the first year)

- Must be able to commute within reasonable travel time to the office
