Your Role at Vertice

As a Senior Accountant you will play a strategic role in shaping Vertices accounting records and month-end close process. Based in our Brno office youll be part of a collaborative finance team supporting a rapidly growing innovative company. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries performing complex account reconciliations and contributing to the financial health of Vertice across our international operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and complete general ledger entries

• Support the month-end close process and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

• Analyze accounting records and monitor balance fluctuations in selected accounts.

• Collaborate with international bookkeeping service providers and assist with annual audit requirements.

• Prepare and support VAT reporting.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist the Senior Accounting Manager with special projects and other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar field.

• Masters degree in accounting finance or a related discipline

• Qualified accountant with ACCA or a similar recognised qualification (Big 4 accounting firm preferred)

• Exceptional organisational skills attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset

• Strong communication skills in English

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: CZK 70000 - 90000 per month based on experience and qualifications
