Senior Agentic AI Engineer, Remote

We are looking for a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to join agile engineering team focused on building production-grade AI-powered products and agentic systems.

This role is ideal for a product-minded engineer who thrives in ambiguous environments enjoys solving complex problems end-to-end and can turn high-level business ideas into working software with minimal supervision.

You will work directly with stakeholders design system architecture build scalable applications and develop AI-driven solutions using modern LLM technologies. The role combines software engineering product thinking and practical experience with agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain production-grade agentic AI systems and LLM-powered applications
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Architect and implement end-to-end systems across frontend backend APIs databases and AI components
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines retrieval workflows and tool-integrated AI agents
• Build reliable observable and maintainable AI systems through monitoring evaluations testing and performance optimization
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrations with internal and external services
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to system architecture discussions
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development workflows to improve engineering productivity and delivery speed
• Share AI best practices and support broader AI adoption initiatives across the organization

Requirements

• 10 years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong experience designing and delivering production software independently
• Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders and transform ambiguous requirements into working solutions
• Strong system design and software architecture skills
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows
• Experience with tool/function calling prompt engineering structured outputs and guardrails
• Experience building and maintaining RAG solutions
• Understanding of evaluation frameworks observability tracing and production monitoring for AI systems
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks
• Experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD practices
• Active use of modern AI coding assistants such as Claude Code Cursor GitHub Copilot Windsurf Aider or similar tools

• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems
