Job Summary
The ERP Project Manager supports the planning and execution of enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives across the system. This role is ideal for professionals with strong administrative or executive support experience who are ready to transition into project management. Leveraging exceptional organizational communication and coordination skills the Project Manager will help drive complex projects impacting Finance Human Resources Procurement and related administrative functions.

Job Duties
- 10% - Lead Support and progressively lead ERP implementation and enhancement projects including planning scheduling and coordination of activities Assist with testing coordination and process documentation efforts Support change management activities including communications training logistics and user adoption tracking - (Essential)
- 70% - Management Develop and maintain project plans timelines meeting schedules and documentation Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance HR IT and other administrative units Facilitate communication between stakeholders functional teams and vendors - (Essential)
- 15% - Organization Organize and support governance activities including steering committees executive updates and project reporting Track project milestones risks issues and action items ensuring timely follow-up and resolution Maintain organized project records decisions and documentation for audit and compliance purposes - (Essential)
- 4% - Reporting May prepare institutional Federal State and TBR required reporting as well as ad hoc reports May prepare quarterly reports for the Tennessee Board of Regents on progress of project(s) - (Essential)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
57 years of professional experience including administrative executive assistant or project coordination roles
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders complex initiatives or cross-functional teams
Strong organizational time management and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to project management practices tools or methodologies (formal certification not required)
Experience working with ERP systems such as Banner Oracle or similar platforms
Experience in higher education government or other complex organizations
