The Industrial MechanicIII is responsible for ensuring that all engineered systems are maintained the preventative maintenance program is caried out and is part of a team that installs tests and verifies the proper operation of manufacturing equipment. This role will be responsible for assembling parts installing process piping and servicing equipment like motors blowers and pumps.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering and is part of the Facilities and Engineering Department located in Torrance Ca and will be an on-site role.
What well get you doing:
Trouble shoot and correct equipment issues as reported. Set up and changeover equipment in accordance with manufacturing recommendations and with all the required safety protocols in place.
Perform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance as defined by the schedules. Maintain all documentation of work performed and update the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) with the appropriate information.
Work with vendors and contractors as needed to perform installations and carry out maintenance work
The essential requirements of the role include:
Minimum of a 2-Year associate degree in the mechanical field.
2 years as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment preferable from the Pharmaceutical Beverage or Food industry
Strong background and knowledge in mechanical pneumatics and pump repair
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

The hourly range for this role is $33.00 - $40.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
