We are seekinga Human Resources Studentfor ourBC Regiondistrict within ourCanadian Buildings Divisionthat is availablefor 4-12 months starting September2026.This position willbe under the direct supervisor of theDistrict HRPD Advisor.

As a Human Resources Student for PCL Constructors Westcoast Richmond British Columbia youll have the opportunity to support innovative infrastructure projects that shape the future of your community.

Heres how a Human Resources Student for PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. within BC Region contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

Being involved in and exposed to various areas of Human Resources including recruitment training and professional development and health & wellness
Assisting with planning and executing career fairs
Assisting with training coordination and facilitates course set-up
Supporting the team by preparing for daily events and follow-up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings maintaining action lists and reminders and meeting/interview preparation)
Supporting activities requiring a high degree of confidentiality attention to detail and accuracy
Composing and preparing confidential correspondence reports and other documentation
Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree or diploma with a Human Resources major
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency with various computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Able to proactively anticipate needs and follow-up items for the team
Able to maintain strict confidentiality required of work assignments
Independent and resourceful in accomplishing day-to-day tasks and assignments
Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining a high-degree of accuracy and professionalism

Pay Range: $19.88 - $24.38

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number ofcompleted school terms relevant work terms kind of role and work location.
