Job Summary

The Claims Mitigation Team is a vital part of our mission at JM&A. We ensure that dealer fixed operations departments perform in line with expectations and are profitable and successful for both our Clients and JM&A. The scope of work continues to grow and we have the opportunity to work and collaborate with nearly every team within the company.

The Field Claims Analyst supports the Claims Mitigation Team by handling administrative data collection and preparing work that increases team capacity and improves consistency. The role focuses on gathering and organizing data and presentations containing claims performance information monitoring requests in a case queue documenting workflows and preparing materials that Field Claims Managers use to support dealer partners and internal stakeholders. The position is not client facing and will primarily support Field Claims Managers through strong organization attention to detail and clear communication. This position is based in Deerfield Beach FL with a flexible work schedule allowing in office and work from home opportunities with periodic travel based on business needs and team initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Data collection hygiene and reporting support

  • Gather and organize claims experience data from available PowerBI dashboards and reports for assigned dealers and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and administrative support for Field Claims Managers.
  • Maintain clean consistent documentation standards for analysis files one-pagers and supporting artifacts so materials are easy to find and reuse.
  • Monitor for missing inputs or data quality issues and escalate to the appropriate partners to resolve them.

Presentation and communications preparation

  • Assist Field Claims Managers by preparing charts tables and draft slides for internal updates and dealer-ready presentations.
  • Draft concise summaries of findings and recommended next steps for review by the Field Claims Manager.
  • Create standardized templates and reusable content to improve consistency of team communications and deliverables.

Audit and quality support

  • Audit inspection findings and supporting documentation for dealers in mitigation and summarize recurring issues or opportunities for follow-up.
  • Support quality checks of reports and deliverables before they are shared with stakeholders.
  • Maintain controls that reduce rework and improve accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support for requests that come in from the Field such as claims escalations and routing those requests to the appropriate departments.

Required qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with data and PowerBI dashboards
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry or insurance/auto claims environments
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 13 years of experience in dealership fixed operations mechanical claims contract administration or a related operational role.
  • Understand CoPilot or other A.I. Technologies.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • ASE certifications or automotive technical experience are a plus.
