A precision manufacturer working on genuinely complex high impact products is looking for a Quality Engineer who actually enjoys the engineering side of the job.
This isnt a role where youll babysit audits and chase deviations. Youll sit at the front end of New Product Introduction owning the validations the control plans the inspection strategies and getting your hands into the process when the data and the part dont agree.
What youll actually do
Lead quality activities through NPI from concept to production handover aligned to customer CTQ and regulatory requirements
Run IQ/OQ/PQ validations and build control plans that hold up once volume ramps
Use DOE SPC MSA and structured problem-solving (DMAIC 8D) on the kinds of problems that dont have an obvious answer
Get deep into manufacturing processes such as moulding coating automation and assembly and work out which variables actually matter
Drive yield consistency and process readiness during development builds
Sit at the table with engineering manufacturing and customers to align on specs acceptance criteria and validation expectations
Build SOPs inspection plans and validation documentation aligned to ISO standards
What we want to see
5 years in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering
Real NPI and process validation experience not theoretical
Working fluency in Six Sigma / DMAIC and the ability to actually run DOE SPC MSA and RCA not just reference them
An engineering background (Mechanical Materials Manufacturing or similar) is a plus but track record carries more weight than the certificate on the wall
Communication skills strong enough to bring stakeholders along with you
Why this one is worth a look
High-impact products in a regulated environment work that genuinely matters
A team that values engineering thinking and continuous improvement
Real ownership of process design quality strategy and product outcomes
Visible contribution. Youll see the impact of your work on the floor and in the data
