Are you driven to ensure safe and sustainable project execution within complex energy environments Join a leading operator in Norway where you will play a key role in strengthening health safety security and environmental (HSSE) performance across major development projects.
This is an opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams influence critical project decisions and contribute to delivering projects with strong risk control and operational integrity throughout the lifecycle.
What Youll Do
Serve as HSSE advisor within the project management team across all phases
Drive HSSE planning execution and follow-up from concept to commissioning and handover
Set and communicate HSSE requirements to contractors suppliers and stakeholders
Lead risk management activities including assessments barrier strategies and verification
Develop and maintain HSSE plans aligned with project milestones and decision gates
Ensure compliance with NCS regulations and internal standards
Monitor HSSE performance identify trends and drive improvements
Follow up audits inspections and deviations ensuring timely closure of actions
Promote incident learning and continuous improvement across the project
Coordinate with internal HSSE specialists (e.g. environment emergency response security)
Who You Are
Relevant higher education (e.g. Engineering Safety or related field)
510 years of experience in HSSE preferably within energy offshore or large-scale projects
Strong knowledge of NCS regulatory framework and industry best practices
Experience working within project environments and cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of risk management compliance and safety systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive HSSE culture
Fluency in both Norwegian and English
