Job Title: Office Assistant (Part-Time)

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Assistant to oversee the general upkeep and organization of our office space. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure a welcoming and professional environment for staff and visitors. The position involves on-site visits 1 2 times per week for a few hours with occasional support for events and contractor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Office Presence & Environment
- Visit the office 1 2 times per week for a few hours
- Ensure the office maintains a clean organized and professional atmosphere
- Stock coffee and snack supplies
- Tidy the kitchen area and common spaces
Office Condition Checks
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of office spaces
- Inspect and reset conference rooms:
- Remove leftover papers and clutter
- Clean whiteboards
- Visually check AV systems to confirm they are online
- Organize tables and chairs
- Have the ability to lift 40 pounds
Occasional Duties
- Coordinate access for external contractors and service providers
- Assist with routine facility inspections
- Provide support during larger office events or meetings
- Documentation
- Take photos of pre-determined office areas for reporting and record-keeping
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in basic office software and tools
- High level of discretion and professionalism
Work Schedule
