Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Electrical Technician (North Canton OH)
- Install electrical wiring fixtures panels and components for commercial and industrial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
- Assemble wire and connect electrical systems according to project specifications.
- Test circuits and electrical components using diagnostic tools such as multimeters ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Adhere to NEC standards safety procedures and company quality requirements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with team members (fabricators assemblers etc.) to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Requires experience with commercial and industrial electrical systems low-voltage and high-voltage wiring and proficiency with electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred qualifications include an electrician license/certification OSHA or safety training and experience with industrial equipment control panels or production machinery.
