Job Title: RLA Teacher (Grades 68) / Girls Basketball & Volleyball Coach

Position Overview:
Three Way ISD is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to serve as a Middle School RLA Teacher (Grades 68) combined with coaching responsibilities in girls athletics. This position places a strong emphasis on girls basketball and volleyball with opportunities to positively impact student-athletes both academically and athletically.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and standards-based instruction in Reading/Language Arts for grades 68
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet diverse student needs
• Foster a positive inclusive and academically rigorous classroom environment
• Monitor and support student academic progress

Coaching Responsibilities:

• Serve as Head/Assistant Coach for Girls Basketball and Volleyball (emphasis on both programs)
• Plan and conduct effective practices skill development sessions and game strategies
• Promote teamwork sportsmanship and student-athlete character development
• Coordinate with athletic staff and support overall athletic program goals

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas teaching certification (or ability to obtain) in the appropriate subject area
• Coaching experience in basketball and/or volleyball preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students staff and community
