A Pilot Plant Technician willbe responsible forpreparing sample fruit preparations as well as ensuring standards are met in the relevant production and storage areas.

Key accountabilities:

Pilot Plant Cooking:

• Cook approximately 9 samples of fruit preparations daily according to established procedures

• Adjustcookformulas to specifications detailed on the procedure

• Perform quality testing on customer sample batches: pH and Brix

• Operatecleanandmaintainpilot scale equipment as part of daily tasks

• Support the New Product Development Team leaders by reporting any issues concerning materialsequipmentand ability to meet objectives

• Participate in internal or cross functional projects as team members

• Maintainaccuraterecords ofrunconditions; including analytical data process data and labeling

Inventory:

• Maintain proper inventory levels to par quantities

• Pull raw materials needed for next days schedule

Sanitation:

• Perform scheduled sanitation tasks

• Maintain cleansanitaryand safe pilot plant environment ensuring compliancetoGMP GLP FDA and internal quality standards

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• English Language Fluency withreading writing and speaking

• Basic Computerproficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word) and internet navigation as well as basic data entry skills

• Good interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• SAP experience is a plus

Skills:Looking for experience in food manufacturing industrial kitchen pilot-scale operations or GMP environments

Position requires working onsite inBrecksville Ohio.
