Join our hospitality team and gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals across diverse functions. This internship is designed to develop your skills and competencies to thrive in the fast-paced world of hospitality and contract food service. Youll work closely with leadership within your sector and account gaining exposure to operations marketing guest services sales and catering problem-solving innovation and client relationship management.
What Youll Learn & Do:
- Contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences and client relations
- Provide operational support across front-of-house back-of-house catering marketing and administrative functions
- Support the execution of operational standards and contractual commitments
- Assist with financial activities including profit & loss and loss prevention
- Help ensure safety quality assurance and compliance with food safety standards
- Participate in associate learning and development initiatives
- Gain experience in people management including scheduling and time management
- Assist with inventory management and loss prevention
Learning Objectives:
- Develop awareness understanding and skills to succeed in diverse hospitality environments
- Gain practical experience through observation and active participation in multiple hospitality functions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in the hospitality and service industry
- Experience knowledge or studies related to hospitality (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Preferred Interests:
- Sustainability and environmental impact (e.g. carbon foodprint farm-to-fork practices)
- Quality assurance and food safety
- Contract food service management
