Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Recognizes and resolves routine process and equipment problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
Extracts engineering data from various sources and processes the data following well-defined methods or procedures (elementary algebra geometry)
Presents data and necessary details of findings in standard formats; point out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or other general observations
May train and review the work of new technicians to basic standards
Works with engineers to support daily manufacturing and assembly needs
- Supports department needs and duties in KPIs order cell product returns DPSs and projects.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Some technical coursesor on thejob training in relatedfield.
Mechanical Background (Mechanics Machining)
1 year of experience in related field
Requires basic knowledge of standard technical issues and tools
Typicallyresponsible for performing tasks of moderate complexity
Capable of using reason and logic in problem solving
Good oral and written communication skills
Good computer and typical office software skills
Able to read drawings and knowledge of GD&T is a plus
Basic Test Rig Building
Basic Manufacturing and Assembly Processes
SAP Navigation and Use
Basic MS Office Software
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
- Working conditions associated with normal office environment.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g. computer telephone copier printer etc.).
- Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings.
- Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
- Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
