Overview

As an Instructional Designer/Program Manager you will design and develop engaging and effective learning solutions for various audiences and platforms. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions and make recommendations for improvement. This position will also partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on programs that build engagement at all levels increase individual and organizational capability and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Apply adult learning theory instructional design models and user-centered design principles to create new courses or revise an existing curriculum leading to high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs and preferences of diverse learners.
2. Design and develop various types of learning solutions such as e-learning modules videos simulations games job aids assessments and instructor-led training using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 Rise 360 etc.
3. Develop and organize training materials including manuals course materials guides handouts and visual aids for assigned Talent Growth & Culture Development (TGCD) programs.
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts project managers and other stakeholders to conduct needs analysis define learning objectives create storyboards and develop instructional materials using sound instructional design principles and best practices.
5. Analyze update and refine existing content.
6. Lead train-the-trainer (T3) delivery of assigned training programs via eLearning instructor-led and remote workshops.
7. Using AI-generated insights identify patterns strengths opportunities and areas for improvement in the program content.
8. Research new technologies and review current courses to determine the best ways to optimize the learning process.
9. Partner with People Analytics to develop and leverage tools processes analytics and dashboards to analyze/report on and support TGCD programs including the effectiveness of training ROI and recommendations for improvement of programs.
10. Conduct formative and summative evaluations to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions and report on key metrics and outcomes.
11. Support the development of internal and external communications and content from the TGCD team that are informative visually appealing and engaging to stakeholders.
12. Use strong instructional design principles and learning theories to design and develop microlearning content.
13. Consult coach train and partner with facilitators to ensure the effective and high-quality execution of TGCD strategies.
14. Manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and quality standards.

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in human resources business administration instructional design education or a related field is strongly preferred; at least three (3) years of experience in instructional design preferably in a corporate sales-driven Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization.
Proven track record of success in applying instructional design principles and methods for curriculum and training design facilitation of training activities implementing talent development processes and programs adult learning theory training material delivery techniques and measurement of training effectiveness and ROI.
Demonstrated competence with various learning modalities and technologies such as e-learning instructor-led training webinars videos podcasts simulations games etc.
Demonstrated proficiency with instructional design applications such as Articulate (required)- Storyline 360 Rise 360; Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred) Camtasia (preferred) and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of HRIS/LMS (SuccessFactors or similar preferred).
Demonstrated initiative creativity and enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies and solutions; knowledge of or interest in emerging technologies such as cloud artificial intelligence etc.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
