  • This position is 100% in-person andnoteligible for remote work

Work Hours:Monday Friday 7:00AM 3:30PM

  • Employee must be able to work on-call schedule as assigned and outside of normal working hours.

Duties & Responsibiliites (Advancedadditionalduties exist for the Level II& IIIpositions):

Essential

  • Assists performs and/or directs a variety of routine to complex maintenance and construction activities to include sanitary sewer jetting manhole maintenance and inspection hydrant flushing and maintenance repair water sewer and storm lines valve exercising and maintenance PRV inspections and maintenance monitoring lift stations and CCTV inspections of the utility system.
  • Installs andmaintainsa variety of specialized and complex equipment related to distribution collection and performs light mechanical repair and maintenance.
  • Operates heavy and light duty equipment to perform related maintenance and construction assignments.
  • Performs a variety of heavy laboring activities including the use of hand tools light power equipment and heavy construction and maintenance equipment.
  • Performs or inspects distribution collectionandworks with Town inspectors as needed.
  • Performs snow removal activities either by hand small equipment or heavy equipment as assigned.

Administrative and Customer Service

  • Performs data entry of information maintenance logs and other data in spreadsheets and related software.
  • Responds to customers andcontractorsinquiries and complaints.
  • Preparesnecessary records and reports.

Safety

  • Performs a variety of duties thatrequiresconsiderable knowledge of the use and wear of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Performs routine safety checks of equipment and minor maintenance activities on vehicles and equipment andmaintainsrecords of activities.
  • Maintains a safe working environment to include working in traffic and congested areas working in ditches and confined spaces and all work environments.
  • Assistsin the cleaning and organization of shop area.

Operations & Maintenance Support

  • Assisting Meters with reading and maintenance service orders conducting turn-offs and turn-ons of residential and commercial water services.
  • Assisting Streets with maintenance of roadways and signage.
  • Assisting Locates with utilitylocates.
  • Assistingin Town events preparation operation and break down

One (1) year of laboring heavy maintenance equipmentoperationsor other experiencepreferred

Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving recordrequired

Colorado Commercial Drivers License Class Brequiredwithin one (1) year.

Confined Space Certification within one (1) year.

D&CMaintenanceTechnicianII

High School diploma or generaleducation degree (GED)required

Two (2) years of related work experience in the utility fieldrequired

Valid Drivers License and satisfactory driving recordrequired

Colorado Commercial Drivers License Class Brequiredw/ tanker endorsementrequired.
