Description of Work

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Develop policies procedures workflows and scopes of work.
• Manage endtoend procurement activities including reviewing approving executing and tracking purchase requests.
• Research products and sourcing options secure quotes through negotiation and coordinate with budget staff on funding.
• Facilitate purchases through approved methods (State Term Contracts CE Pcards direct payments eprocurement) and process requisitions and purchase orders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders while maintaining reports supporting fixedasset accounting and adhering to procurement regulations

Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $29.00

Management prefers applicants with the following:

• Prior experience and working knowledge of procurement and supply management
• Working knowledge of general procurement and purchasing procedures

• Ability to interpret and apply rules regulations standards and policies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree from an appropriately accredited institution or Associate degree in business or related field of study from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of procurement experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
