Position Summary:
Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Manager Market Insights to join our growing Commercial Insights and Operations team. This is an important role for which the right candidate will enhance the teams core competencies across the organization. This role will report to the Associate Director Market Insights and will be responsible for analyzing the companys products markets and competition. The Manager will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and lead market research and insight generation to primarily support FILSPARI (sparsentan) in Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) with potential to support additional needs in other indications. This role will support multiple cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing Sales and Market Access. Their insights and recommendations will inform strategic marketing customer engagement and business decisions.
The preferred candidate will have a strong background in healthcare market research and insights generation including both primary market research and secondary data analytics. They will have a demonstrated ability to think creatively combine and leverage multiple data sources to uncover insights and translate findings into actionable business recommendations. Experience in rare disease nephrology and/or specialty biopharma is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Design and Lead Key Market Research: For assigned business questions think creatively to recommend and design appropriate methodologies to derive insights from relevant customers. Example projects include: message and creative concept testing customer journey and treatment decision research brand performance ATUs and sales force effectiveness.
Project Management: Participate in vendor selection oversee day-to-day management of select projects and analyses with a high level of detail ensure projects stay within budget constraints and report progress to team leadership.
Familiarity With Secondary Data Analytics: Work with internal secondary data leads to answer key business questions monitor market dynamics and generate actionable insights. Types of secondary data to be familiar with include competitive claims data internal promotional data and internal script data.
Interpreting Results and Drawing Actionable Insights: Lead interpretation and synthesis of results within the context of business questions and develop actionable recommendations by integrating primary market research secondary data and competitive intelligence.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues from Insights & Operations Marketing Sales and Market Access to identify key business questions and support ad hoc insights needs related to strategic direction forecast assumptions and tactic execution.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest research methodologies analytics approaches and industry trends. Integrate new methodologies and data sources to enhance existing approaches and continuously improve the quality of insights generated.
Contribute to Team Resource Allocation: Participate in formulating the annual insights budget delivering the business case for projects/tools as appropriate. Manage the administration of assigned budget effectively.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelors in Marketing Business Market Research Life Sciences or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
6 years of relevant experience in market research commercial analytics marketing and/or competitive intelligence within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to integrate multiple data sources to uncover insights and deliver actionable recommendations.
Excellent collaboration skills building meaningful internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to scope interpret and communicate in support of brand strategy and execution.
Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently; experience managing vendors and consultants.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to convert analyses and conclusions into easily understandable and persuasive oral and written presentations.
Applies basic consulting skills including consultative listening problem definition hypothesis generation data analysis and translation of solutions to business value.
Proven consistent track record of high performance in similar role(s): increasing scope of responsibilities creating and managing complex project plans timelines budgets and critical paths.
Advanced skill level with MS Excel PowerPoint and Word required.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically for Company-sponsored events/meetings.
All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Target Base Pay Range:
$116000.00 - $151000.00*This information is current as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including the candidates experience education skills and location.
