This is official notification that Marshall County Special Services Cooperativeis seeking applications for an opening in the following position for the 2026/2027 school year.
Elementary Special Education Teacher
Requirements: Applicants must currently hold or will hold by August 2026 a Kansas license with the appropriate endorsement. This includes provisional license applicants. This position requires a person who has good communication skills and can work effectively with staff students and parents. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: eligibility evaluations report writing consulting with teachers building administrators and parents; maintaining adequate records as required the provision of services in the general and special education settings and collecting data for decision-making. We will consider hiring a certified teacher who would be willing to work on getting their Special Education Certification.
Salary is determined by educational level and years of experience. We reimburse $150.00 per approved college hour completed for classes towards the teachers first masters degree during employment with the District. We offer Health Dental and Vision coverage.Our Cooperative pays a stipend for certified Special Education teachers.
