The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Architect Advisor to drive enterprise-wide transformations for some of Australias most complex this role you bring the strategic vision and technical depth to define robust Digital First Data First business roadmaps translating complex organisational challenges into actionable evidence-based SAP architectures that create lasting enterprise value.
Whether youre steering a major discovery engagement for a large construction firm or designing supply chain architecture for a Mills Product organisation you will bring the vision the evidence and the technical depth to make it happen. You will work closely with senior business leaders and stakeholders to shape transformation roadmaps ensuring innovation translates into measurable return on investment.
About the Role
As an SAP Architecture Advisor together with the Account Executive you co-pilot account strategy uncover new stakeholders build pursuit teams and lead complex opportunities. You guide customers through business and technology transformations acting as a trusted advisor to senior business and IT stakeholders aligning Board strategy with SAPs solution capabilities to deliver measurable outcomes.
As the presales lead you collaborate with an extended team of sales solution advisors value advisors and delivery experts to provide strategic guidance across the full customer lifecycle from vision and planning to value realisation. This role requires strategic thinking strong business acumen and deep solution architecture expertise to help customers modernise their technology landscapes adopt cloud innovation and unlock value from SAPs platform data and AI capabilities.
Role Expectations
- Lead Strategic Discovery. Run comprehensive discovery engagements and lead executive workshops to define future-state enterprise data strategies. Navigate the complexities of mergers acquisitions and deep organisational change to build a clear and actionable path forward.
- Architect the Core Ecosystem. Design end-to-end best-practice solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SuccessFactors SAP BTP SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud among others. Ensure architectural consistency and solution integrity across complex customer environments.
- Innovate and Automate. Push the boundaries of standard architecture by exploring advanced technical strategies including agentic AI workflows for system configuration and deployment optimisation.
- Be Evidence-Based. Ground every recommendation in solid evidence. Anchor architectural claims in official SAP documentation verified domain expertise and proven capabilities. Advise with confidence and correct misconceptions constructively.
- Shape and Communicate Roadmaps. Create high-quality artefacts proposals points of view transformation roadmaps that make the SAP value proposition compelling and memorable. Present confidently to C-suite and business stakeholders playing back your understanding of their challenges and building a shared vision.
- Collaborate Across Teams. Partner with Industry Advisors Value Advisory Customer Success Sales and Solution Experts to connect industry insights business value frameworks and SAP capabilities into compelling transformation strategies. Contribute to Bills of Material (BoMs) phased roadmaps and solution architectures aligned to customer priorities.
- Enable the Architecture Practice. Utilise LeanIX enterprise architecture tools to maintain key artefacts including capability maps application landscapes and technology reference architectures. Contribute best practices and thought leadership to a high-performing advisory team.

Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders through compelling communication and storytelling.
- Experience leading opportunities across sales presales and delivery organisations in complex enterprise engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex architecture concepts in a business-relevant way.
- Experience working with SAP solutions and platforms with the ability to translate technology capabilities into tangible business value.
- Strong understanding of SAP key business processes: Record to Report Procure to Pay Design to Operate Hire to Retire and Order to Cash.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture solution architecture or strategic technology advisory roles within large enterprise environments.
- Domain expertise in at least one core business capability area such as Finance Spend Management Asset Lifecycle Management Supply Chain or Customer Experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of one or more industries such as Engineering & Construction Consumer Products or Mill Products. Flexibility across industries is highly valued.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools including LeanIX for developing architecture artefacts and transformation roadmaps is an advantage.
