About the Role
The Director Program Management (Commercial) is a senior leader within BetMGMs PMO accountable for ensuring clarity confidence and predictable outcomes across the Commercial portfolio. This role exists to enable strong decisionmaking align strategic intent to executable priorities and ensure the business is investing its time talent and capital where it matters most.
Operating at an enterprise level the Director partners closely with senior Commercial and Marketing leaders to shape portfolio direction guide investment and sequencing decisions and provide transparency into progress risks and tradeoffs. Rather than managing daytoday execution this role leads through Business Portfolio Managers and Project Managers setting direction reinforcing discipline and intervening when scale risk or complexity require senior leadership.

Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy Alignment & Outcomes
Own accountability for the overall health and outcomes of the Commercial portfolio ensuring work is aligned to enterprise strategy prioritized against capacity and sequenced intentionally.
Partner with senior Commercial and Marketing leaders to shape portfolio strategy investment guardrails and prioritization principles.
Guide portfoliolevel tradeoff decisions related to funding timing scope and resourcing to maximize business impact.
Maintain an enterprise perspective on Commercial initiatives anticipating impacts across Product Engineering Operations Compliance and Customer Experience.
Governance & Decision Enablement
Establish and lead portfolio governance structures that provide leaders with clarity transparency and confidence in decisionmaking.
Lead portfoliolevel forums to drive alignment resolve conflicts and address crossinitiative dependencies.
Serve as the escalation point for material portfolio risks delivery confidence concerns or systemic constraints.
Ensure executive communications focus on insights implications and decisions not activitylevel reporting.
Leadership Through Business Portfolio Managers and Program Managers
Lead and develop Business Portfolio Managers by setting clear expectations for portfolio discipline business partnership and outcomes.
Empower Business Portfolio Managers to own daytoday portfolio operations including roadmap management governance execution and delivery health.
Review portfolio performance at a strategic level intervening selectively to unblock challenges or elevate decisions.
Build a culture of accountability trust and continuous improvement across the Commercial PMO team.
Strategic Partnership & Influence
Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on delivery feasibility prioritization risk and change impacts.
Influence crossfunctional leaders to align on shared outcomes tradeoffs and commitments without direct authority.
Provide clarity and direction during ambiguity helping leaders navigate complexity with confidence.
PMO Strategy & Scale
Advance the PMOs mission as a connected trusted partner to the business by strengthening portfolio alignment transparency and execution confidence.
Contribute to the evolution of scalable PMO operating models governance standards and ways of working.
Champion datadriven portfolio insights and outcomefocused success measures.
Partner with peer PMO leaders to ensure consistency cohesion and a One PMO culture across the organization.
Qualifications
12 years of experience in program portfolio or transformation leadership within complex crossfunctional organizations.
Proven experience operating at a Director or equivalent senior leadership level delivering outcomes through other leaders and senior ICs.
Strong commercial and business acumen with experience supporting Marketing growth or revenuedriving organizations.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders frame tradeoffs and guide decisionmaking in matrixed environments.
Experience building coaching and leading highperforming teams.
Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity balancing strategic intent with execution realities.
Deep understanding of portfolio management governance models and delivery discipline.
Exceptional communication and executive presence with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
Experience in regulated digital or fastpaced environments preferred.
Bachelors degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
The annual salary range for this position is $155000.00 to $206000.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements
As an online gaming company BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records financial history and personal background verification.
In addition candidates must comply with and support BetMGMs responsible gambling policies procedures and initiatives.
