Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. This role requires strong experience in cardiovascular and endovascular surgical procedures within a high-acuity fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
Monitor patients before during and after surgical interventions
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
Prepare operating rooms instruments and surgical equipment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams for optimal outcomes
Respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations
Accurately document all patient care activities and procedures
Participate in on-call weekend and holiday coverage as required
Ensure delivery of high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma setting
Required Qualifications
Recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience required
Experience in a large high-acuity hospital or Level 1 Trauma setting
Strong background in cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
Excellent clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Licensure & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Additional certifications may be required based on facility guidelines
