Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 6:45 AM 5:15 PM
• Shift Length: 10 Hours
• Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
• Days per Week: 4
• Additional Requirements: On-call rotation weekends and holidays as needed

Position Overview

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. This role requires strong experience in cardiovascular and endovascular surgical procedures within a high-acuity fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
• Monitor patients before during and after surgical interventions
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control standards
• Prepare operating rooms instruments and surgical equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams for optimal outcomes
• Respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations
• Accurately document all patient care activities and procedures
• Participate in on-call weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Ensure delivery of high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma setting

Required Qualifications

• Recent CVOR Registered Nurse experience required
• Experience in a large high-acuity hospital or Level 1 Trauma setting
• Strong background in cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
• Excellent clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on facility guidelines
