Job Summary

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner youll be a supporter a strategist a behaviour detective and occasionally the person who teaches everyone to breathe again after a meltdown.

Your work will be meaningful handson and genuinely lifechanging for the people you support.

This role is based in Jindalee and surrounding areas where you will support NDIS participants within the local community.

What youll be doing

  • Evaluating developing & delivering evidence-based support plans
  • Creating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework
  • Building capacity in the people who support our participants families carers friends support workers
  • Working alongside a brilliant multidisciplinary team
  • Championing the reduction (and elimination!) of restrictive practices

Youll thrive with us if you:

Hold a degree in allied health or a related field
Have experience reading implementing reviewing or creating behaviour support plans
Hold NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner status
Dont yet have BSP registration Thats okay- we can help you get there
Have a genuine passion for disability support
Have experience working with complex and challenging behaviours
Love working with people and love writing (yes there will be paperwork)
