Senior Analyst

KPMGs Audit & Assurance practice is expanding its Wage Audit team and is seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in auditing with a focus on payroll and accounting. This role supports the delivery of highquality wage audit engagements within a regulated environment and forms part of KPMGs broader assurance offering.

Your Opportunity

• Deliver wage audit engagements in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Examine payroll wage contractor and financial records to assess accuracy of declared wages and compliance
• Perform data analysis across payroll systems STP BAS PAYG and supporting documentation
• Prepare audit working papers progress reporting and final audit deliverables in line with prescribed formats
• Maintain effective and professional engagement with employers regulators and internal stakeholders
• Identify issues escalate complex matters appropriately and meet defined quality and timeliness standards
• Contribute to coaching and review of junior team members as appropriate to level

How are you Extraordinary

• Experience in payroll compliance and /or workers compensation
• Experience in auditing or related assurance work
• Strong technical accounting and analytical capability
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
• Professional services experience preferred
