Senior Analyst
Job Summary
KPMGs Audit & Assurance practice is expanding its Wage Audit team and is seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in auditing with a focus on payroll and accounting. This role supports the delivery of highquality wage audit engagements within a regulated environment and forms part of KPMGs broader assurance offering.
Your Opportunity
- Deliver wage audit engagements in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Examine payroll wage contractor and financial records to assess accuracy of declared wages and compliance
- Perform data analysis across payroll systems STP BAS PAYG and supporting documentation
- Prepare audit working papers progress reporting and final audit deliverables in line with prescribed formats
- Maintain effective and professional engagement with employers regulators and internal stakeholders
- Identify issues escalate complex matters appropriately and meet defined quality and timeliness standards
- Contribute to coaching and review of junior team members as appropriate to level
How are you Extraordinary
- Experience in payroll compliance and /or workers compensation
- Experience in auditing or related assurance work
- Strong technical accounting and analytical capability
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and quality expectations
- Professional services experience preferred
