Job Summary
Oakstone Community School is hiring a K12 Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher for the school year. We are a small public school serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) offering small class sizes collaborative co-teaching and strong staff support. Key Responsibilities (IEP Special Education Co-Teaching)Manage IEP caseload (IEP development annual reviews compliance progress monitoring) Provide special education services accommodations and modifications Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and track behavior data Deliver direct instruction and co-teaching in inclusion and small-group settings Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers paraprofessionals and related service providers Track student data goals and academic progress Required Qualifications (Ohio Licensure)Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License oMild/Moderate OR Moderate/Intensive oDual licensure preferred Experience with IEPs special education compliance and progress monitoring Strong classroom management differentiation and collaboration skills Ability to support students with disabilities ASD and below grade-level learners Preferred Endorsements / Content AreasScience Teacher (MS/HS) Biology Physical Science Chemistry Math Teacher (Grades 712) through Algebra II ELA Teacher (MS/HS) Reading Writing Language Arts Employment Requirements (Ohio Schools)Willing to complete Ohio BCI & FBI background checks (upon hire and every 5 years) Must obtain and maintain CPR / First Aid / AED certification (renewed every 2 years) Why Apply to OakstoneSmall class sizes (low student-teacher ratio) Special education-focused environment Collaborative team-teaching / co-teaching model Supportive administration and staff Mission-driven school serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Apply NowEmail: or
