For this role they are seeking an experienced auditor with strong nonprofit/governmental experience and Form 990 knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform financial statement and single-audit engagements for nonprofit/government clients.
• Supervise staff review workpapers and ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance.
• Knowledge of Form 990s and advise on nonprofit compliance.
• Communicate with clients and support engagement budgeting/scheduling.

Qualifications:

• CPA preferred or actively pursuing
• 5 years public accounting experience (nonprofit/government experience preferred).
• Experience with Form 990 and single-audit requirements.
• Strong supervisory communication and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across upstate NY.
