Job Description:
Primary Purpose:
  • Responsible for month end close tasks including journal entries account reconciliations analysis updating monthly reporting trackers etc.
  • This position is also responsible for daily general accounts payable functions including managing vendor updates invoices and oversight of weekly payment run with the Controller.
Essential Duties and Resposibilites:
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries for month end close and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Review and prepare weekly work order status report for supply chain and management
  • Review and prepare weekly Accounts Payables on hold report; work with supply chain and sourcing to clear AP holds
  • Manage and record monthly T&E expense transactions for the business unit; work with stakeholders as necessary to ensure proper and timely recording to projects and P&L
  • Create and maintain vendors and oversee weekly payment runs
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and complete monthly account reconciliations
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions/balances and complete monthly account reconciliations; work with sister company stakeholders to resolve variances
  • Complete monthly/quarterly sales tax returns as needed
  • Manage code and approve AP invoices for several key vendors as needed

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum education job experience certifications skills knowledge and abilities that incumbent must typically have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Oracle or similar ERP system experience
  • Advanced level Excel skills
  • Experience and background with project accounting preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Onestream experience preferred
  • Self-motivated individual able to recommend solutions and work independently without constant Management direction
