About the role

The Rates Officer plays a key role in supporting the efficient administration of Councils rates and revenue functions. Working as part of a collaborative rates team the position contributes to accurate data management timely processing and high-quality service delivery to ratepayers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • maintaining and updating property and ratepayer records
  • processing payments adjustments and rates transactions
  • responding to enquiries from ratepayers and customers.

About you

This role is suited to a detail oriented and reliable individual with strong administrative and customer service capabilities. The successful candidate will bring a proactive approach sound judgement and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
