Were seeking an engaging Secondary Geography Teacher for a part-time 0.8 FTE (4 days a week Wednesdays off) fixed-term leave replacement contract for Semester 2 2026.
About The Role
We invite applications from inspired and proactive Geography Teachers. This is a part-time fixed-term position commencing Monday 13 July 2026 and concluding Friday 11 December 2026. Reporting to the Head of Geography the successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality teaching across Years 7-10.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- A strong background in teaching Geography and related subjects.
- Competent in teaching Geography across Years 7-10.
- Able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of curriculum content be able to use technology to support your teaching and understand the individual learning needs of students and develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student engagement.
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
