We are seeking a skilled and motivatedField Service Generator Technicianto perform emergency repairs and planned maintenance on a variety of diesel and gas-powered generators and accessories. This role involveson-site customer service diagnostics and repairs across our service area.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose service and repair generators and related systems at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown service
Troubleshoot and interpretelectrical and mechanical schematics
Inspect and serviceAutomatic Transfer Switches (ATS)up to 3-phase / 480 volts
Accurately order parts through the parts department and maintain service records
Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally
Work independently in the field managing time and tasks effectively
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience inEPG (Emergency Power Generation)diesel engine orelectrical troubleshooting
Technical degree or military training in diesel or electrical systems is a plus
Strong understanding ofelectrical schematics and diagnostic procedures
Familiarity withATS systemsandswitchgear
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity
Own basic tools for the trade
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Willingness to work overtime as needed
EGSA Certificationa plus!
