JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $75.38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 2nd shift preferred; may transition to 1st shift after 3 months (must be flexible)

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Travel: Up to 20% (may include travel to Lufkin TX)

• Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

• Design develop and implement testing methods and equipment

• Plan and coordinate labor schedules and equipment for testing activities

• Define test parameters and specify testing requirements for standard and specialized devices

• Execute and support test procedures troubleshooting and evaluations

• Compile and analyze test data to identify improvements

• Recommend changes to test equipment procedures manufacturing processes or requirements

• Perform testing on customer samples and specialized test cases not handled in standard test areas

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• 6 years of experience in Test Systems Development

• 6 years of experience in test procedures execution and troubleshooting

• 6 years of experience developing test requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
