Mobile HVAC/Maintenance Engineer Mesa Arizona
MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Mobile HVAC/Maintenance Engineer in Mesa Arizona. This role works 1st shift supporting multiple commercial facilities. The HVAC/Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the operation inspection maintenance and repair of mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems while ensuring buildings remain safe efficient and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Operate maintain monitor and repair mechanical electrical plumbing structural fire/life safety furniture and control systems across multiple facilities.
Travel between assigned sites to ensure building systems are operating efficiently and maintained to company standards.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance including cleaning inspecting calibrating and replacing HVAC system components.
Record equipment readings analyze system performance and make operational adjustments as needed.
Coordinate preventive maintenance programs inventory control purchasing and vendor services.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure quality work and cost effectiveness.
Follow all safety procedures including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while identifying potential safety concerns.
Perform routine inspections of tools and testing equipment to ensure proper operation.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong commercial HVAC and electrical troubleshooting skills (approximately 90% of the role).
Basic plumbing and general building maintenance experience.
Several years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC equipment.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel between local sites.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Trade school or technical education in HVAC refrigeration or electrical systems preferred.
