Job Summary

Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Location: McLean VA (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright Selenium Cucumber Java and TypeScript
Execute end-to-end (E2E) functional and integration testing across frontend and backend systems
Develop and run automated test scripts for UI and API validation
Integrate automation suites within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins Maven)
Perform backend and database validation using SQL (DB2 PostgreSQL)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality across all delivery stages
Validate that software meets acceptance criteria and business requirements

Skills:

Strong experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Java.
Experience with Cucumber for BDD automation.
Expertise in API testing using REST Assured.
Experience with Maven build management.
Experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins.
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC Agile methodologies and automation best practices.
Excellent analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
