Summary:
Develop and maintain manufacturing plans BOMs work instructions and illustrations
Define and document as-built configuration and production processes
Support MESci manufacturing planning rewrite and standardization efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement consistent manufacturing plans
Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to meet business objectives
Integrate suppliers processes materials and technologies into manufacturing plans
Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with requirements
Develop and manage tooling requirements from design through end-of-life
Perform producibility assessments and provide input to design and manufacturing teams
Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues
Develop integrated work statements and production sequencing
Draft and update processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
5 years of related manufacturing or planning experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing plans BOMs and work instructions
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under general direction in a cross-functional environment
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting aerospace or defense programs
Experience with 3D model-based instructions
Familiarity with tools such as Siemens NX CREO CATIA DELMIA IVT VisVSA PrimeR Aurora
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES/MESci)
Experience reviewing and approving engineering deliverables (installation plans tooling etc.)
