Digital Media Specialist
About the Role:
As a Digital Media Specialist you will play a key role in driving the success of integrated digital campaigns across multiple platforms. This position combines strategy execution and performance optimization giving you end-to-end ownership of campaigns.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including media planners creatives and account managers to develop and execute high-performing campaigns. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys working with data and is passionate about delivering tangible results.
This is a full-time in-person role based in Virginia Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan launch and manage digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads Bing YouTube programmatic display remarketing and more
- Develop paid search campaigns including keyword research ad copy bidding strategies and ongoing optimization
- Manage display and video campaigns including audience targeting placements and creative testing
- Oversee campaign budgets with strong attention to detail
- Monitor performance and continuously optimize for efficiency engagement and conversions
- Implement and manage conversion tracking pixels and tagging
- Translate data across platforms into actionable insights and clear client reporting
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards using data from Google Ads Bing GA4 and other platforms
- Assist with inventory feed setup and management in Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager
- Collaborate with internal teams on strategy planning and creative execution
- Contribute to media recommendations campaign strategy and client presentations
- Stay current with digital media trends tools and best practices
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search Display and YouTube)
- Experience with programmatic or display advertising platforms
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and campaign tracking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to write clear and compelling ad copy
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Technical Proficiency
- Tag Manager (conversion setup and troubleshooting)
- Looker Studio (dashboard creation and automated reporting)
- Google Merchant Center & Meta Commerce Manager (feed management and troubleshooting)
- Local Service Ads
- Programmatic buying
- A/B testing
- Conversion rate optimization
