Digital Media Specialist

About the Role:

As a Digital Media Specialist you will play a key role in driving the success of integrated digital campaigns across multiple platforms. This position combines strategy execution and performance optimization giving you end-to-end ownership of campaigns.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including media planners creatives and account managers to develop and execute high-performing campaigns. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys working with data and is passionate about delivering tangible results.

This is a full-time in-person role based in Virginia Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan launch and manage digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads Bing YouTube programmatic display remarketing and more
  • Develop paid search campaigns including keyword research ad copy bidding strategies and ongoing optimization
  • Manage display and video campaigns including audience targeting placements and creative testing
  • Oversee campaign budgets with strong attention to detail
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize for efficiency engagement and conversions
  • Implement and manage conversion tracking pixels and tagging
  • Translate data across platforms into actionable insights and clear client reporting
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards using data from Google Ads Bing GA4 and other platforms
  • Assist with inventory feed setup and management in Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager
  • Collaborate with internal teams on strategy planning and creative execution
  • Contribute to media recommendations campaign strategy and client presentations
  • Stay current with digital media trends tools and best practices

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search Display and YouTube)
  • Experience with programmatic or display advertising platforms
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and campaign tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to write clear and compelling ad copy
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Technical Proficiency

  • Tag Manager (conversion setup and troubleshooting)
  • Looker Studio (dashboard creation and automated reporting)
  • Google Merchant Center & Meta Commerce Manager (feed management and troubleshooting)
  • Local Service Ads
  • Programmatic buying
  • A/B testing
  • Conversion rate optimization
