We are searching for a highly motivatedWireTransferSpecialistto join ourgrowingBank Operationsteam. This role is ideal for a proactive detailorientedpersonwho thrives in a fastpaced environment. TheWire Transfer Specialistmust effectively communicate regularly withinternal stakeholderssuch asClient Services Treasury ManagementLoan and Trust/Family Operationsand Financeas well as external customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processdomesticand internationalwire paymentsas well asdrawdown requests accurately and efficiently
- Perform outbound funds transfer verification to minimize fraud risk
- Collaborate proactively with their team to achieve shared goals in meeting department Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform risk exception analytics by referencingmultiple internal applications to assess bank risk tolerances
- Monitor inbound/outbound suspicious payment activity according to federal regulations (BSA/AML) and associated procedures; escalate specificquestions related to risk compliance or loss to the appropriate area
- Assist periodically with the testing and implementation of new applications enhancements conversions and/or acquisitions
- DailyReconciliation ofinternal accountstothegeneralledger
- Proactively seek ways to improveefficiencyand propose ideas regarding operational procedures/methods recommending changes for improvementswith an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
- Understand and comply with bank policies laws regulations and the banks BSA/AML Program as applicable to job duties. This includesbut is not limited to completing compliance training adhering to internal procedures and controls reporting any known violations of compliance policies laws or regulations and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2yearsof relevant banking experience required (including experience with wiresand/orfrauddetection or mitigation)
- High school degree or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred
- Knowledge ofcore banking systems; proficiency with Jack Henry a plus
- Detailorientedandhighlyorganized
