Job Summary
Position Summary
The Department of Music is seeking a jazz guitar instructor to provide individual instruction and group studio class to jazz guitar students. Individual instruction will involve teaching .5 1.0 hour lessons to students. Studio class instruction will involve holding a 1 hour class once per week during which students enrolled in private instruction will meet together to discuss subjects and repertoire related to jazz guitar study.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
A Masters degree or higher is preferred. Applicants should have experience teaching jazz guitar at a college/university level.
