The Opportunity:

We are seeking to grow the origination and execution capacity of the team through the recruitment of a professional at Assistant Manager level.

We work across all industries and operate in a broad range of disciplines including:
Mergers and acquisitions

Valuation business modelling and economics

Your Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Manager within the SaT team you will:
Lead client engagements and facilitate discussions. You will interview clients identify and summarize key issuesoutline project approaches and draft proposal content.
Develop and/or review fi nancial models for strategic requirements including M&A debt funding etc.

Perform business and market-based valuations for transaction and fi nancial reporting purposes including comparable company and comparable transaction screening using S&P Capital IQ Mergermarkets Copilot and other internal AI tools.
Contribute to business development by producing pitch packs and marketing material that support winning projects and deals.
Perform target searches through primary or secondary research and shortlist target companies in global markets.

Perform industry and company research and analyze fi nancial and operational results by reviewing accounting records.
This includes analyzing businesses operating at different stages of the value chain in various markets and deriving trends and commercial insight.
Mentor and supervise junior team members providing guidance on technical work client management and career development.

Oversee project delivery by managing timelines and resources and maintain strong communication with stakeholders ensuring expectations are met and insights are clearly conveyed through presentations reports and workshops.

To qualify for the role you must have:

A bachelors degree majoring in Accounting Business Economics Finance Mathematics or other fi nancial related background and/ or equivalent professional qualifi cation CA/CIMA/ ACCA/ CFA with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in similar industry. Prior experience in capital markets investment banking M&A or valuations would be advantageous.
Familiarity in S&P Capital IQ Bloomberg Mergermarkets and skills to perform deep research using AI tools such as Copilot.

Strong analytical skills able to analyze fi nancial and non-fi nancial information to formulate preliminary investment thesis
Working knowledge on accounting concepts and principles including IFRS/ SLFRS and its implications on valuations/deals
Sound commercial judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity to develop practical solutions

Leadership skills especially in areas of Project Management and People Management
