Executive Assistant to General Manager

Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts is Sri Lankas largest operator of star class hotels with a portfolio of over 2000 rooms divided among three city hotels and ten resort hotels situated in prime locations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the General Manager ensuring the smooth day to day operations.
• Manage the General Managers calendar by scheduling appointments meetings and events.
• Organize coordinate and prepare for internal and external meetings including preparing agendas taking accurate minutes and following up on action items.
• Handle and prioritize all outgoing and incoming correspondence from the General Managers office.
• Handle confidential documents and other important work related to this position.
• Prepare presentations and management information reports.
• Check guest reviews on social media on a daily basis and respond accordingly.

• A professional qualification in Secretarial Practice Business Administration or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 6 7 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of executive office administration clerical procedures and secretarial best practices.
• Excellent command of the English language with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of technology and strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office packages (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and business communication software.
