Senior Associate IS Security Engineer

What you will do and what we expect of you

Lets do this. Lets change the this vital role you will:

Duties:Support Incident Response (IR) Operations andto ensurecontinuity of 24/7 security services. Execute the Global Incident Management Programin accordance withindustry frameworks (e.g. SANS PICERL). Support Incident Response Commander and isdirectly responsiblefor IR activities. Revise and develop processes to strengthen Security Operations and Incident Response. Lead coordination efforts with necessary partners to better understand activity or actions and their impacttoAmgens environment. Translate complex technical incidents into business language and be able to present the same to different audiences. Demonstrate integrate and collaborate on enhancing existing information security solutions and services to address any gaps or deficiencies in the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) to address security risks. Collaborate with other Information Security teams and provide CSOC insighttowhere limited information security controls or solutions are present. May Telecommute.

Requirements:Employer will accept aMastersdegree (or foreign equivalent) in Cybersecurity Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or related field & completion of a university-level course research project internship thesis or one year of experience in the following:

1. Implement the basic security principles and concepts related to informationsystems;

2. Conduct risk assessments and create related securityplans;

3. Security risk Management Methodologies to create policies and procedures to manage securityrisks;

4. Windows Security Reverseengineeringand binaryanalysis;

5. Viruses wormsmalwareand maliciouscode;

6. Botnets and Languagesecurity;

7. Articulate components of Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources that require protection; and

8. Analyze and evaluate proposed and existing information security policiespracticesand proceduresin order toassess potential liabilities.

Job type:Full Time position. The annual salary range for this position in the U.S. is$123219.00

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
