With 5 sites - Albury Wodonga Lavington Wangaratta and Yarrawonga situated on the Murray River border of NSW and Victoria and perfectly located between Melbourne and Sydney.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of a team and being the face of our organisation we are seeking a part time Medical Receptionist to work at our Yarrawonga site and join our fun and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Representing X-Ray Group as the first impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk.
  • Answering the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner
  • Make a patient bookings while maximising appointment slots
  • Informing patients of relevant preparation costing estimates and requirement to present relevant concession cards.
  • Actioning patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of fellow Receptionists Booking Centre Agents Radiologists Radiographers Sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists.


ABOUT YOU

  • Previous medical receptionist experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to show patients care compassion and empathy
  • Detailed understanding of medical imaging terminology
  • Excellent time management skills in order to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system
  • EFTPOS and cash handling skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The flexibility to work between sites desirable
