HSBC Qianhai Securities Limited (HSBC Qianhai) a joint venture securities company was incorporated on 28 August 2017 pursuant to Supplementary Agreement X to the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangements (CEPA) between the mainland and Hong Kong.
The registered capital of HSBC Qianhai is RMB1.8 billion. The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) holds 90% of the shares while Qianhai Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. (QFH) holds the remaining 10%. Our headquarters are located in Qianhai Shenzhen. We have branch offices in Beijing and Shanghai and a trading outlet in Qianhai Shenzhen.

Job description of the role:
- To run systems to produce data for P&L risk-based attribution and roll-based attribution where appropriate.
- To compare daily Trader Estimate& Actual P&L and perform analytical review of the attributed P&L. Analytical review includes review and validation of market environment changes new business/large deal reviews cancel and amendment analysis unexplained P&L internal allocations etc.
- To prepare daily P&L commentary. This will include an audit trail from the initial attributed P&L to final P&L with justification of any adjustments to enable managerial review.
- To ensure the accurate reporting of Front Office based P&L and perform other related P&L and balance sheet controls e.g. substantiation & reconciliations.
- To perform group regulatory (PRA EBA HKMA) reporting tasks including RWA reporting Fair value levelling significant holding reporting etc.
- To perform other reporting tasks assigned by management including but not limited to Product control reporting liquidity reporting ALCM metrics etc.
- To identify and resolve production exceptions.
- To respond to queries from front office and other senior management.
Requirements what you will need to succeed in the role:
- University graduate from a reputed institution in accounting finance or economic subject.
- 3 years or above experience in working within Financial Markets or a Treasury department.
- Good understanding of Financial Markets and risks (products traded associated risks (including the greeks) and their life cycle accounting principles and valuation techniques).
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work with people across location and from different backgrounds.
- Strong business mind-set together with analytical and problem solving skills.
- Well-organized detail-orientated able to cope with tight deadlines.
- Fluent written and spoken Chinese. Working English required.
