Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaged and committed Science and Mathematics Teacher to join our College community on a full time fixed term role is a leave replacement position for Term 3 2026.
Reporting to the Head of Learning - Science and the Head of Learning - Mathematics this role will be responsible for teaching Science and Mathematics subjects across Years 7 to 9 in a collaborative and progressive environment. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice and continuous professional growth and enjoy access to modern teaching spaces and resources.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Science and Mathematics).
- Previous experience teaching Science and Mathematics subjects across years 7 to 9 (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
