Infrastructure Project Manager Platform Migration

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic platform migration initiatives within a large-scale financial services environment. This role requires strong end-to-end delivery expertise across infrastructure data and network migrations ensuring alignment with governance risk and change management standards. The position demands a delivery-focused professional capable of managing complex technical programmes while engaging effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and platform migration projects from initiation through transition and handover.
• Plan and manage platform data and network migration activities to minimize disruption to live services.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans milestones RAID logs and dependency tracking.
• Ensure compliance with change control risk management and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure network security application and third-party vendors.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to provide clear updates on progress risks and delivery outcomes.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-relevant communication.
• Identify and manage risks issues and blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
• Ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope quality standards budget and timelines.
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices.
• Contribute to broader transformation programmes within the technology function.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager within banking or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering platform migration projects including infrastructure data or network migrations.
• Strong understanding of change control governance and risk management processes within regulated environments.
• Experience managing complex technical change across enterprise-scale technology landscapes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
• Proven ability to deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience working with cloud or hybrid cloud environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with containerization or virtualization technologies such as OpenShift is desirable.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2 PMP or Agile methodologies are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset.
• Ability to operate effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
