About the role
Join St Vincents PECC multidisciplinary team delivering specialist short-stay mental health assessment intervention and treatment in an inner-city Emergency Department setting
Work across both the 6-bed PECC unit (intensive outcome-focused care and psychosocial interventions) and the Emergency Department (mental health assessments and presentations)
Play a pivotal role collaborating with clinicians to provide high-quality person-centred care

Rotating roster MondaySunday including morning and evening shifts with one additional day off per month.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
Minimum 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience in mental health (acute/emergency psychiatry highly regarded)
Approved post registration qualification
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within the interdisciplinary team using high level effective communication and interpersonal skills
