Salary: $135826.04 - $138534.10 super.

About the role

  • Join St Vincents PECC multidisciplinary team delivering specialist short-stay mental health assessment intervention and treatment in an inner-city Emergency Department setting

  • Work across both the 6-bed PECC unit (intensive outcome-focused care and psychosocial interventions) and the Emergency Department (mental health assessments and presentations)

  • Play a pivotal role collaborating with clinicians to provide high-quality person-centred care

  • Enjoy a supportive team environment with strong learning and professional development opportunities

  • Rotating roster MondaySunday including morning and evening shifts with one additional day off per month.

About you

  • Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency

  • Minimum 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience in mental health (acute/emergency psychiatry highly regarded)

  • Approved post registration qualification

  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment

  • Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within the interdisciplinary team using high level effective communication and interpersonal skills
