Parallel Employment is hiring for a shipping position for a food manufacturing company in Cheektowaga NY.

In this role you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse including receiving storing and distributing materials and products. You will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring products are accurately handled and stored according to company standards.

Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Wage: $20 to $22 an hour

Responsibilities:

Use forklift and powered industrial truck to pull inventory and deliver production materials and supplies to production
Must have Reach and Lift Truck experience
Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
Use RF scanners for inventory movement
Inventory control
Wrap and tag pallets
Operate various material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

Prior experience as a material handler or in a similar role
Must have Reach and Lift Truck experience
Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
